Brad Moffitt – Director of Electric

Brad has over 35 years supervision and finance experience, including dual military and civilian careers. He spent over 24 years in the army and Tennessee Army National guard where he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel with primary assignments in maintenance and logistics and received the Bronze Star for performance in Desert Storm as well as numerous other lesser decorations through out his military career. He also has over 8 years construction experience with TVA at Bellefonte Nuclear Plant as well as 20 years finance experience serving the cities of Johnson City and Elizabethton. Education includes an Associate Degree in Applied Science, (Computer Science), a BS Degree in Industrial Technology, and a Master's Degree in Business Administration as well as graduation from the army Command and General Staff College and numerous maintenance and logistics classes. Brad has been in his position with Elizabethton Electric Department since November 2008.

Responsibilities include overall supervision of the Electric Department Operations. All finances are handled by the city's Finance Director, Jerome Kitchens.

Brad and Jerome ask that you directly contact their respective responsible staff member for faster service and resolution if you have an issue with your electric service or financial services. If the staff member could not resolve your issue, then ask to speak to their supervisor and give the supervisor the opportunity to resolve the issue. If the issue remains unresolved, contact us directly.

Ken Markland - Marketing & Industrial Services Coordinator

Serving the citizens of Elizabethton and customers of the Elizabethton Electric Department since August, 2003, Ken worked in private Industrial Manufacturing and served on the Elizabethton Regional Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals prior to transferring to the Electric Department.

Larry Shell - Risk Management & Environment Coordinator

Serving the citizens of Elizabethton and customers of the Elizabethton Electric Department since 1977, Larry worked at the city's Police Department prior to transferring to the Electric Department in November of 2007.

Rob Toney – Substation and Meter Superintendent

Serving the citizens of Elizabethton and customers of the Elizabethton Electric Department since 1981, Rob read electric meters from 1981- 1987 until he transferred in the substation and meter department where he served as a technician until 2000 when he assumed the duties of supervisor.

Wes Pearson – Service Supervisor

Serving the Elizabethton Electric customers since 1989, Wes was hired as a part-time employee to maintain the Electric vehicle fleet. In 1992 he was hired full time. Assignments include meter reader, warehouseman, groundman on a line crew; lineman apprentice; journeyman lineman and Service Supervisor (since 2005).

Greg Dugger – Electric Department Field Engineer

Greg has 23 years service with the Electrical Department, assisting customers with new line extensions both overhead and under ground.

Brandon Shell – Electric Department Field Engineer

Brandon has over 15 years with utilities in the city of Elizabethton. He was promoted to his present position in February 2011, assisting electric residential and commercial customers with installation of new temporary and permanent services and upgrading existing services.

Mona Richardson – Warehouse Supervisor

Mona started her career with Elizabethton Electric in April 1990. During her 20 years of service Mona has held the position of Warehouse Worker, Storekeeper and in April 2008 Mona was advanced to Warehouse Supervisor.

Pat Trivette – Electric Department Engineering Clerk

Pat has serviced with the Electrical Department since 1993, assisting customers with information on temporary and permanent service for new construction, overhead and underground, establishing service for mobile-manufactured homes, and Outdoor Lighting for residential and commercial.
